What does it cost to claim my listing?
Nothing. Claiming your listing, keeping your details right, collecting reviews, and replying to them are all free and always will be. Paid tiers for requests and featured placement are being priced now, and are shown as “Coming soon” until they’re ready.
How does verification work?
Two checks. First we confirm you’re with the business, using the phone number or website domain already published on your listing. Then we check your Texas ACR licence number against public state records. Pass both and your listing shows the Scouted & Verified badge.
How are Scout a Pro requests sent to me?
A homeowner describes the problem, their city or ZIP, and how urgent it is. Up to three companies listed in that area are matched. If the homeowner marks it an emergency, companies whose listing says they offer 24/7 emergency service are matched first — we only use what your own website states, never a guess.
Do you label paid placement?
Always. Any placement a company pays for carries a Sponsored label wherever it appears. Paying never changes your reviews, your rating, or your verification status, and it never moves an unpaid company out of the results.
Where did my listing come from?
We researched Houston-area HVAC companies one at a time and confirmed each company’s name, phone number, services, and licence number on the company’s own website. The page we used is recorded as the source. If anything is wrong, claiming your listing is the fastest way to fix it.
Can I remove my listing?
Yes. Ask us and we’ll take it down. You don’t have to claim a listing to have it corrected or removed.
Can I reply to a review?
Yes. Claimed listings can post a public reply under any review. Reviews are written by homeowners about their own experience — AirScouter does not write, edit, or sell them, and we won’t remove a review for being critical.
